Welcome to The Limitless Life, your weekly guide to living limitless. Today we're exploring how shifting your perspective can change your life in a positive way forever. You'll never look at any situation the same.

My Story

I was entering a busy road in my SUV when a woman in the car next to me was clearly struggling to get out onto the road. I pulled out slowly to create space for her to enter alongside me.

She thought I was being rude.

She was screaming at the top of her lungs going absolutely ballistic. Honestly, I thought she was going to have a heart attack on the spot. My kindness was interpreted as an insult. Her reaction rattled me to my core.

That's the moment my perspective about people changed forever.

I realized I had no idea what she was going through. Maybe she was rushing to the hospital. Maybe she'd just received terrible news. Maybe she was already at her breaking point before I even pulled onto that road. My one small action became the thing that tipped her over the top.

From that moment on, I started making excuses for people in every situation and I've never been happier.

When someone honks their horn aggressively, maybe they have an emergency. When someone doesn't hold the door for me or someone else, maybe they're having the worst day of their life. When someone lashes out, I remind myself: it's not about me. It's about them.

The Lesson

You don't know what battle someone is fighting. Everyone you encounter is carrying something you can't see. A health diagnosis. A relationship ending. Financial stress. A loss. Grief. Fear. Exhaustion.

Here's the truth: their reaction is rarely about you.

The Action

This week, I want you to make excuses for others.

  • The person who snapped at you - They're probably dealing with something you don't know about. Your action didn't warrant their tone. Let it go.
  • The person who ignored your message - They might be overwhelmed or in crisis mode. Stop taking it personally.
  • The person who cut you off - They might be rushing to something urgent or distracted by bad news. Give them the benefit of the doubt.

Pick one of these situations this week and choose perspective over defensiveness.

Notice over time how good it feels to make an excuse for someone instead of holding a grudge.

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle. Plato

The Bottom Line

Perspective changes everything. When you stop carrying other people's emotions and start extending kindness instead of judgment, you free yourself. You become lighter. You become kinder. You become someone who can actually enjoy the life you're building instead of being weighed down by every interaction.

This isn't about being naive or letting people treat you poorly. It's about choosing peace over being right. It's about recognizing that the person in a bad mood, the person who ignored you, the person who hurt you—they're fighting battles you can't see. And when you remember that, you stop taking it personally.

That shift changes everything.

You'll find yourself happier. Your relationships will deepen. The constant mental replay of what someone did wrong disappears. You'll have energy for the people and work that matter most to you. You'll design a life that feels good because you're finally at peace with the people in it.

This is how you design a limitless life. Not by controlling others or holding onto grudges. But by choosing perspective. By choosing understanding.

Here's to your limitless life. The joy is in the journey.
